THE TRAGIC
ACCIDENT OF RAJI AND BIR MA'UNA:-
After the
battle of Uhud, the morale of the polytheists increased, and they started a
conspiracy to kill the Holy Prophet (PBUH) by deception. In the month of Safar
4 AH, the people of the tribe of Adal and Qara came and requested the Holy
Prophet (PBUH) that some of us became Muslims. They are, send your teachers for
their education and training. Upon the request of the Prophet,( peace and
blessings of Allah be upon him), he sent ten teachers, whose leader was Hazrat
Murshad, (may Allah be pleased with them).On reaching the place of Raji, these
tyrants martyred eight companions, and sold Hazrat Khabib and Zayd to the Quraysh
of Makkah, who martyred both of them. In this month, a more heartbreaking
incident of Bir Mauna took place. Abu Bara, Amir bin Malik came and asked the
Holy Prophet (PBUH) to send his companions to invite the people of Najd to
Islam and teach them the religion. . On his promise of protection, the Prophet
(peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent 70 great Qari, whose leader was
Munzar bin Amr. When this invitational delegation reached Bir Mauna, this
impostor took with him the people of the tribe of Raal and Zakwan, etc., and
attacked them and killed all the Qari Companions except Ka’b bin Zayd. This
tragic accident left the Holy Prophet (PBUH) deeply traumatized and for a month
he recited Qunut Nazla in the Fajr prayer. The Prophet Muhammad (peace
and blessings of Allah be upon him) was greatly shocked by this tragic accident
and recited Qunut in the Fajr prayer for a month.
