EXILE OF BANY NAZIR:-
Despite the participation of the Jewish tribes in the peace
agreement, they continued to rebel and revolt day by day, after the painful
accident of Bir Mauna the Banu Nazir were increasing in persecution. In spite
of the agreement, the polytheists from Makkah were busy plotting the murder of
the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him
)once in Rabi al-Awwal 4 AH The Messenger of Allah, (peace and blessings of Allah
be upon him), went to Banu Nazir to settle the bloodshed of two slain
polytheists who deserved peace. They apparently promised to cooperate with the
Holy Prophet, but after plotting to kill him, they made him sit under a wall
and assigned a Jewish person to throw stones from above. Allah informed his
prophet about this evil plot. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be
upon him) got up from there, returned, and besieged the fort with his army. On
the other hand, Banu Nazir became afraid due to the lack of help from the
polytheists and could not wait for the competition, they agreed to leave
Madinah, and according to the order, they left their weapons and loaded 600
camels with goods and settled in Khyber.
