BATTLE OF UHUD:-
The morale of the Quraysh of Makkah had been lowered by the
defeat of the Battle of Badr, but the fire of anger was burning
in them. So in 3 Hijri, Abu Sufyan took an army of 3,000 with full preparation
and encamped outside Madinah near Mount Uhud, with them were
3,000 camels, 200 horses and 700 men wearing armor. The Messenger of Allah(peace and blessings of Allah be upon him(performed the
Friday prayer in Shawwal 3 Hijri and left for Uhud with an army of 1000
Muslims, but at the same time the hypocrites betrayed and Abdullah bin Ubai
returned with his three hundred men, now the number of Muslims was reduced to
only seven hundred. A battle started at Uhud and both parties attacked each
other, in this battle the Muslims won first but due to a square the battle
turned.
TRIAL OF THE MUSLIMS IN THE BATTLE OF UHUD:-
In the Battle of Uhud, the Muslims fought bravely against
the polytheists of Makkah, in which they were first victorious, but later
failed because of a square. Before the start of the battle, the Messenger of Allah
(peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) appointed a
group of fifty archers at the gorge of Mount, from where there was a danger of
the enemy attacking, and emphasized that whether the battle is won or defeated,
you should never move from your place. When the Muslims were initially
victorious, seeing the infidels flee These people also moved away from their
place thinking that now the war is over, why don’t we also help our brothers in
collecting booty, their Amir Hazrat Abdullah bin Jubair (RA) repeatedly tried
to stop them. But in the joy of victory, he did not listen and came down from
the mountain, Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed, who had not converted to Islam at that
time and was fighting on the side of the infidels, when he saw the place empty,
attacked from behind. The Muslims were careless. Finally, the polytheists
turned around and fell on the Muslims while running away. Due to a sudden
attack, they came in the middle of the infidels, due to which 70 Muslims were
martyred. Prophet Muhammad's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) blessed
head was wounded and a blessed tooth was also martyred.
THE UNPARALLELED SACRIFICE OF THE COMPANIONS IN THE BATTLE OF UHUD:-
The great love and sacrifice shown by the Companions of the
Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in the Battle of Uhud
will continue to enrich the world of Islam with his holy spirit until the end
of the world. When the polytheists surrounded him, The Messenger of Allah (peace
and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Who sacrifices his life for me?” Ziyad
bin Sakin (RA) went ahead with a few Ansars and one after the other, seven of
them sacrificed themselves under the protection of the Prophet (PBUH). When
Abdullah ibn Qamiyyah struck with a sword, Umm Amara (RA) came in front of the
Prophet (PBUH) and blocked his sword on her shoulder. Hazrat Abu Dujana stood
as a shield until his back was riddled with arrows. Hazrat Talha (RA) stopped
the enemy’s arrows and swords on his hands, due to which one of his hands was
cut off. When a party of the enemy advanced to attack, Hazrat Ali alone turned
them away, because the loyalty of the Companions to the Prophet (peace be upon
him) and Jan Nisari turned their defeat into victory.
THREE DAYS STAY AT HARMA AL-ASAD:-
After the Battle of Uhud, Abu Sufyan took his army back to
Makkah and reached Maqam Ruha and said: We must win a complete victory, so (God
forbid) why should I not kill Muhammad (peace be upon him)? Let’s go! Go back
and erase the Muslims from the page. When the Messenger of Allah (peace and
blessings of Allah be upon him) was informed of this, ordered the
Muslims who had participated in the Battle of Uhud to follow him. The Muslims,
though wounded and exhausted, immediately got ready and encamped at Hamra
al-Asad, eight miles from Madinah. When Abu Sufyan found out about his bravery
and bravery that Muhammad (peace be upon him) was again chasing his companions
for a fight, fear fell on him and everyone lost their courage, eventually Abu
Sufyan saved his life. He fled to Makkah with his army. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him (stayed
there for three days and returned to Madinah with satisfaction.
Quranic Ayah About Article:-
If a wound should touch
you – there has already touched the [opposing] people a wound similar to it.
And these days [of varying conditions] We alternate among the people so that
Allah may make evident those who believe and [may] take to Himself from among
you martyrs – and Allah does not like the wrongdoers –
Surah
Imraan: - 140
