INVOKING ISLAM DURING HAJJ SEASON: -
When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be
upon him) saw that the Quraysh disbelievers were bent on equal enmity instead
of accepting Islam. So the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon
him) started waiting for the season of Hajj and when the season of Hajj came,
and people would come to Makkah from different regions, then the Messenger of
Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) himself would visit those
people and invite them to worship one Allah, repent from idolatry, and avoid
forbidden acts. The disbelievers of Quraish tried hard to instill hatred in the
hearts of all the people regarding the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) and his
invitation. Your (PBUH) Uncle Abu Lahab himself used to walk behind you saying,
O people! This person calls you away from idol worship to a new religion. You
should never listen to him. But the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of
Allah be upon him) continued to convey the call of Islam to the people while enduring
all the hardships and their opposition and explained the truth of religion and
the evil of polytheism and idolatry. Some people used to respond gently, but
some people behaved very harshly and said rude things. Once during this Hajj
season, some people from the tribe of Aus and Khazraj came from
Madinah. After visiting them, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon
him) invited them to Islam. These people accepted Islam and promised to help
you (PBUH).
