THE MORAL CONDITION OF THE ARABS: -
Before the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah
be upon him) the moral condition of the Arabs had deteriorated a lot.
Persecution, theft, robbery, adultery and adultery were common. Gambling and
drinking were very common. Indecency and shamelessness had increased to such an
extent that it was boasted of in open vices. Fights would break out over
trivial matters and then go on for years, the entire society was bound by the
tyranny of interest. Women were treated very mercilessly, they were not given a
share in the inheritance and considering the birth of girls as a cause of
humiliation for themselves, some tribesmen buried them alive with their own
hands, the weak, orphans and the helpless. They were treated with great
injustice and their rights were violated, and many other such evils were
prevalent among them.
