INFIDELS CAUSING PAIN TO THE HOLY PROPHET (Peace Be Upon Him): -

Just as the people of every era denied the Prophet of their time and treated them badly, so, rather, the unbelievers of Makkah treated the Prophet ﷺ even more badly, so the Prophet ﷺ said: “All the prophets Me, I am the most persecuted”. The infidels of Makkah left no stone unturned in persecuting the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and his companions. Someone put thorns in the path of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), someone mocked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), someone called him a poet and someone a magician, and someone called him a madman and a madman. Sometimes the evil-doers put a camel’s dirt over the blessed body of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) while he was praying, and sometimes they put a noose around the neck of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and pulled him. For the sake of this religion, two daughters of the Messenger of Allah (May Allah bless him and grant him peace) were divorced, but the Messenger of Allah, (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) continued to preach the religion of Allah with equal patience and steadfastness. And the infidels of Makkah failed to stop him from preaching the truth despite causing pain to him.

PERSECUTION OF INFIDELS ON MUSLIMS: -

The Infidels and polytheists used to persecute the Muslims a lot and treated them very cruelly because of their acceptance of the religion. So, Umayya bin Khalaf used to lay his slave Hazrat Bilal Habshi on the hot sand, sometimes on his back, sometimes on his stomach, and put a heavy stone on him, and while beating him, he asked him to leave Islam, but even in this condition, Hazrat Bilal Radiyallahu Anhu used to say “Ahad Ahad” which means calling on only one God. Similarly, when Hazrat Ammar bin Yasir and his parents converted to Islam, the infidels used to cause them immense suffering. When the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would pass by them, he would see their plight and say: Yasir’s family! Be patient, your abode is heaven. Hazrat Ammar bin Yasir’s father and mother were martyred by the polytheists while causing pain. Therefore, the infidels left no shortage of suffering to the Muslims, from slaves to noble people, they were persecuted, hung from trees, dragged with ropes tied to their feet, hot stones were placed on their stomachs and backs. Therefore, Muslims were subjected to persecution in every way. But they could not remove the feet of the Companions from faith. The Companions endured all the hardships and kept the Deen-e-Haq close to their chests. May Allah be pleased with him.
