HOLY PROPHET (Peace and Blessings of Allah Be Upon Him) IN THE CAVE OF HIRA: -

The closer the time of prophethood drew near, the more the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, began to like solitude. Being apart from everyone and being alone gave you great peace. He would often go away from Makkah for many days with food and drink and sit in a cave in the mountain called “Hira” and engage in the worship and remembrance of Allah with the guidance of Abrahamic ways and his pure nature. He used to meditate on the power of Allah and was very sad to see the bad condition of the nation. He would not return to the city until the food was finished. When passing through the valleys of Makkah, the sound of salutations would be heard from the trees and stones. If you looked left, right and back, you could see nothing but trees and rocks. At that time, you started having such dreams that what you saw at night was the same thing that appeared during the day. This continued until the hour of prophethood arrived and Allah Almighty granted him prophethood.

THE HOLY PROPHET (Peace and Blessings of Allah Be Upon Him) RECEIVED PROPHETHOOD: -

When the people living in the world reached the last limit by wandering in error and error, Allah Almighty decided to guide them and to remove them from polytheism and idolatry and to bless them with the wealth of faith and monotheism, The arrival of the light that was awaited for a long time, the time has come for its appearance and the fate of the deprived and unfortunate world has awakened. The Messenger of Allah, (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), was engaged in the worship and remembrance of Allah in the cave of Hira. An angel came and said, “Read!” He said, I am not educated! He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) says: After that, he held me and pressed me so much that he squeezed my strength, then he left me and said: Read! I said: I am not educated. He again held and pressed, then said: Read. I said: I am not educated. He held me for the third time and pressed me and released me then said: Read! {Iqra(Recite) in the name of your Lord, the Creator (1) The creation of man from the earth (2) Iqra(Recite) and your Lord the Most Merciful (3) The one who knows with the pen (4) The knowledge of this (5) } So I began to read, and these five verses were revealed, which was the first revelation and the first day of prophethood; from here the series of revelations continued till the end of time.

THE STATE OF THE HOLY PROPHET (Peace and Blessings pf Allah Be Upon Him) AFTER THE FISRT REVEALATION: -

The Incident that happened to the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) receiving prophethood and revelation was the first incident of his life, so naturally he (PBUH) felt nervous and in that state he (PBUH) came home and said: zamluni zamluni “(cover me with a cloak, cover me with a cloak) So Hazrat Khadija, (may Allah be pleased with her), spread the cloak and he (PBUH) lay down. When there was calm after some time, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) narrated the whole incident to Hazrat Khadija (RA). She (RA) was a devoted and wise wife of the Prophet (PBUH), she (RA) comforted the Prophet (PBUH) and said that you do good deeds, give charity, and feed the needy. Allah will never waste you. Then she (RA) took it to her cousin Waraqa bin Nawfal, who was a great scholar of Torah and Gospel. Narrated the whole incident to them. He said that Khadija! This is the same angel who used to come to Hazrat Musa (peace be upon him) and he is the prophet of this Ummah. I wish! I will live until the nation expels them so that I can help. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Will my people drive me out of Makkah?” Waraqa bin Nawfal said: Yes! All the prophets who have come, the nation has dealt with them in the same way.

THE ORDER OF INVITATION AND PREACHING: -

Even after receiving prophethood, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) continued to visit the Cave of Hira. In the beginning, the first five verses of Surah Al-Alaq were revealed, then no revelation was revealed for several days, this is called the “Fitrat Al-Wahhi (The divine period)”. One day, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was coming from the cave of Hira when a voice was heard. When he (PBUH) looked up, he saw that between the earth and the sky, Hazrat Jibreel was sitting on a throne. Seeing Hazrat Jibreel (peace be upon him) in this condition, fear fell on him and he came home and laid down with a blanket. Allah Almighty liked this performance of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and sent down the opening verses of Surah Mudassar. “O you who wrap yourself in clothes! Stand up, and warn (the people) and proclaim the greatness of your Lord, and keep your clothes clean and keep away from all kinds of impurity”. Surah Mudassar: [1-5]. In this way, Allah Almighty commanded you (PBUH) to invite and preach, because the whole world was suffering from polytheism and idolatry for centuries and it was difficult to openly invite, so in the beginning, secretly but you (PBUH) started inviting Islam. At his invitation, his wife Hazrat Khadija (RA) was the first among the women, Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (RA) was the first among the men, and Hazrat Ali (RA) was the first among the children to accept Islam.

INVITATION TO ISLAM ON MOUNT SAFA: -

After receiving Prophethood, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) continued to invite religion in secret for three years, then Allah Almighty ordered him to openly invite the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to Islam. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) climbed to the top of Mount Safa and called out to all the families of Makkah. An army is coming behind, which is going to attack you soon, so will you believe it? Everyone said with one voice: “Why not!” You are honest and trustworthy.” Then he said: “People! Believe in one Allah and leave the worship of idols, I have come to warn you and warn you of a severe punishment, which is right In front of you”. Hearing this, all the people were very angry, among them Abu Lahab, the close uncle of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), spoke harshly to the Prophet (peace be upon him). in response to which Allah revealed Surah Lahab about the destruction of Abul Lahab and his wife Umm Jameel.

THE PROPHET’S CONVERSATION WITH HIS UNCLE ABU TALIB: -

When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) continued to prevent idolatry and invite people to the true religion without caring about the displeasure of the people, So the chiefs of Quraysh complained to Abu Talib, the uncle of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that your nephew speaks badly of our Allah’s, calls our forefathers astray, which we cannot tolerate, so either you stop supporting them or you too enter the battlefield for a decisive battle on their behalf. Hearing this, Abu Talib was frightened and called the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, “Do not put such a burden on me that I cannot bear it.” Hearing this from his uncle’s tongue, tears filled his eyes and he (PBUH) said: “Uncle! By Allah! Even if these people put the sun in one hand and the moon in the other hand, I will not stop from my work, either the religion of Allah will live or I will perish in this way”. This conversation of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had a great impact on Abu Talib, so he said: “Preach the way you want, I will not hand you over to anyone.” After hearing this answer of Abu Talib, the infidels left Makkah disappointed.
