Three Years Of Imprisonment. The Messenger Of Allah Muhammad (PBUH) In The Valley Named Shi'ab-e-Abi Talib With His Family.
BOYCOTT OF BANI HASHIM AND THREE YEARS OF IMPRISONMENT: -
Despite the persecution and prevention of the infidels of
Mecca, Islam was growing rapidly, seeing that the infidels of Mecca thought of
a plan to boycott Muhammad and his family, so they all consulted among
themselves and wrote a covenant and signed it. Hanged on the Kaaba, according
to this covenant no one could associate, transact and marry with Muhammad
(PBUH) and his family, therefore the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) was not allowed
to associate with Bani Hashim and the Muslims. Had to go to a valley, named
Shi’ab-e-Abi Talib, where these people spent three years in which they
faced severe hardships, due to hunger and thirst they had to eat even acacia
leaves, When the children cried because of hunger and thirst, the infidels of
Makkah used to laugh at him. After three years, Allah’s mercy and such help came
that the infidels themselves started opposing each other. Coincidentally, Abu
Talib was sitting in the House of Kaaba listening to all the words, got up from
there and came to the disbelievers and said: At night Muhammad said to me:
“The termite has licked all the words of the Testament, only ((In
the Name of Allah)) As the title remains, when the covenant was seen,
letter by letter what he said came out to be true and the necks of the infidels
bowed down in shame, In this way, the covenant ended and Muhammad (peace and
blessings of Allah be upon him) left Shi'ab-e-Abi Talib and settled in Mecca
in the tenth year of Prophethood.
