Assalam u Alikum to all in this blog you will find “All things about Islam “here. Prophets stories, Duaen, history of Islam, hadith and Quran Ayat and so on. Aam ul-Hazn (The Year Of Sorrow). Death of Abi Talib The Uncle of  Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Death Of Hazrat Khadija (RA) The Wife Of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

AAM UL-HAZN (THE YEAR OF SORROWS): -

Hazrat Khadija, the wife of the Messenger of Allah, (May Allah bless him and grant him peace), and his uncle, Abu Talib, always supported him. Once Abu Talib fell ill and the time of his death approached. He ï·º said: “Oh uncle! Say La ilaha illa Allah once, so that I can get evidence for your intercession before Allah”. But Abu Jahl and Abdullah bin Umayyah and others said that Abu Talib! Will you abandon the religion of Abdul Muttalib? Abu Talib refused to read the Kalma and the last word on his tongue was, “I am on the religion of Abdul Muttalib” and died. The grief of his(may Allah bless him and grant him peace) uncle’s death had not eased yet, that after a few days, the life supporter of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and his grieving wife Hazrat Khadijah Al-Kubra (RA) also passed away from this world. In this way, due to the death of both of them one after the other, a mountain of sorrow and trouble fell on him (May Allah bless him and grant him peace), because Abu Talib and Hazrat Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with him) at every stage of his preaching and Da’wah. Both of them used to support the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and Hazrat Khadija (may Allah be pleased with him) always helped him and gave the best advice in times of trouble. Therefore, the death of both of them in one year was a great accident for the Prophet (May Allah bless him and grant him peace). That is why he (May Allah bless him and grant him peace) named this year “Aam al-Hazn” meaning the year of sorrow.
