VILLAGERS: -
In Surah Yaseen, Allah Almighty has mentioned a village as
an example to the people, Allah Almighty sent the first two prophets to remove
polytheism, disbelief, evil and mischief from among these people and to guide
them. The villagers did not agree and rejected his invitation. Allah sent
another prophet with him. The three prophets assured the people living there
that we are Allah’s messengers and messengers, but these people did not
believe, started making fun of them and threatened to kill them. In such a
situation, a righteous man living on the edge of the town came and said, O
people of my nation! Obey the words of those messengers of Allah who show you
the right path, and I worship the One Creator and Lord, who created us and to
Him we shall return after death. But instead of listening to him, the people
got angry and martyred him. Allah gave this good man paradise because of his
boldness of faith and confirmation of the prophets. Seeing this holy place, he
said that I wish my people could see these blessings given by Allah. Therefore,
when the people of the nation disobeyed these prophets and went beyond the
limit in oppression, Allah Almighty sent down punishment and a terrible scream
killed the entire nation.
