COMPANIONS OF PARADISE: -
Gardeners are mentioned in Surah Qalam of the Holy Quran. He
was a resident of “Zawran”, a region of Yemen. Allah Almighty had
blessed him with great wealth, he had a huge garden. He used to spend a large
part of his production on the poor and needy. He used to take out the annual
expenses of his family and give the remaining wealth in charity in the way of
Allah Almighty. When this good man died, his sons said that our father was too
foolish to spend his wealth on the poor, we will not do that and go to the
orchard to pick fruit in the dark, so that no one The needy could not disturb
us by coming. They had already decided that Allah Almighty burnt their garden
and fields to ashes in the night through a strong and hot wind. When these
people reached there and saw the state of the garden and cultivation, they were
sorry and were very ashamed of their bad decision. Undoubtedly, such is the
case of Allah Almighty with those who do not give the rights of the poor and
needy and those who do not spend in the way of Allah.
