HAZRAT YAQOOB (PEACE BE UPON HIM): -

Hazrat Yaqoob bin Ishaq bin Ibrahim (peace be upon him) was the prophet of Allah and the leader and prophet of the people of Canaan (Palestine). He has been mentioned more than ten times in the Holy Qur’an and his attributes have been mentioned at various places and pointed to his being the Noble Prophet, the master of patience and contentment and the most virtuous and righteous father of Hazrat Yusuf (peace be upon him). Hazrat Yaqoob is also called Israel in Hebrew language. The generation of Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) who went on to be called “Bani Israel” is attributed to him. He had four marriages, Allah blessed each of them with children. They had twelve boys and one girl. All the boys except Binyamin were born in the city of “Fadd in Aram” in Iraq. At the age of one hundred and thirty years, he went to Egypt with his entire family at the request of his beloved son Hazrat Yusuf (peace be upon him), stayed there for seventeen years and died there at the age of one hundred and forty seven years. Hazrat Yusuf (peace be upon him) brought him to Palestine and buried him with Hazrat Ibrahim and Hazrat Ishaq (peace be upon him).

TRAIL ON HAZRAT YAQOOB (PEACE EB UPON HIM): -

Like other Prophets, Hazrat Yaqoob (peace be upon him) also had to endure a lot of hardships, he had to face the toughest trials in life, wealth and children, but he remained patient and grateful at every opportunity. In particular, the children were subjected to the test for a long time. In his old age, he was crying because of the separation of his beloved son like Hazrat Yusuf (peace be upon him), but this grief was not over yet when the incident of separation of his second son Benyamin happened. In this way, his beloved children got away from him. Along with this, the hardships faced in Dawah and Tabligh and the grief of people not accepting this Dawah was different. But this Jalil-ul-Qadr Prophet of Allah Almighty used to bear all the troubles and was patient and grateful and kept asking for the help of Allah Almighty. Allah rewarded his patience by meeting the scattered sons and gathering all the children together and also restored their sight. Indeed, Allah Almighty bestows such rewards on those who persevere.
