HAZRAT SHOAIB (PEACE BE UPON HIM) AND HIS PEOPLE: -
Hazrat Shoaib (peace be upon him) is a famous prophet of
Allah, he used to engage in prayer and dhikr frequently and used to cry out of
fear of Allah Almighty. He is mentioned eleven times in the Holy Quran. Meets Madyan,
who went to Hijaz (Arabia) with his family. Increasingly, this family spread in
the form of a clan from the last frontiers of Hijaz to the country of Syria.
During the Prophet’s era, on the way to Syria, Palestine and Egypt, the ruins
of Madyan were visible. This nation was suffering from idolatry, polytheistic
beliefs, and lack of measure, robbery and robberies. After receiving
prophethood, Hazrat Shoaib (peace be upon him) started inviting these people to
faith and monotheism. His sermons, advice and speeches had a great impact on
people’s hearts, so the Holy Prophet (PBUH) awarded him the title of “Khatib
al-Anbiyyah”.
HAZRAT SHOAIB (PEACE BE UPON HIM) AND THE DEATH OF THE NATION: -
Allah Almighty sent Hazrat Shoaib (peace be upon him) to the
people of Madyan and the “Companions of Ayeka” for guidance, this nation is
suffering from polytheism and idolatry, in addition to cheating in commercial
transactions, lack of measure, looting and robbery. Had increased from Hazrat
Shoaib (peace be upon him) invited them to refrain from all these evils and to
accept faith and monotheism, but his advice had no effect on this disobedient
nation suffering from various sins and the whole nation expelled him from the
city and stoned him. Started threatening to do it and started making fun of his
worship and prayer, still Hazrat Shoaib (peace be upon him) continued to
explain to them, mentioned the bad fate of the people of Lut and other
disobedient people, but this unfortunate and disobedient people He continued to
grow stubborn and obstinate. Finally, Allah Almighty destroyed them with
heavenly fire and earth earthquake. Hazrat Shoaib (peace be upon him) went to “Hazr
Mut” with the believers and died at the age of one hundred and forty years.
Some Quranic Ayah Related to Article: -
And to [the people of]
Madyan [We sent] their brother Shoaib. He said, “O my people, worship Allah;
you have no deity other than Him. There has come to you clear evidence from
your Lord. So fulfill the measure and weight and do not deprive people of their
due and cause not corruption upon the earth after its reformation. That is
better for you, if you should be believers.
Surah
Aeyraaf: - 85
Said the eminent ones who
were arrogant among his people, “We will surely evict you, O Shoaib, and those
who have believed with you from our city, or you must return to our religion.”
He said, “Even if we were unwilling?”

Aeyraaf: - 88
Said the eminent ones who
disbelieved among his people, “If you should follow Shoaib, indeed, you would
then be losers.”

Aeyraaf: - 90
Those who denied Shoaib –
it was as though they had never resided there. Those who denied Shoaib – it was
they who were the losers.

Aeyraaf: - 92
And he turned away from
them and said, “O my people, I had certainly conveyed to you the messages of my
Lord and advised you, so how could I grieve for a disbelieving people?”

Aeyraaf: - 93
And to Madyan [We sent]
their brother Shoaib. He said, “O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity
other than Him. And do not decrease from the measure and the scale. Indeed, I
see you in prosperity, but indeed, I fear for you the punishment of an
all-encompassing Day.

Hood: - 84
And when Our command came,
We saved Shoaib and those who believed with him, by mercy from Us. And the
shriek seized those who had wronged, and they became within their homes
[corpses] fallen prone

“Will you not fear Allah?

And to Madyan [We sent]
their brother Shoaib, and he said, “O my people, worship Allah and expect the
Last Day and do not commit abuse on the earth, spreading corruption.”
