HAZRAT ISMAIL (PEACE BE UPON HIM: -
Hazrat Ismail (peace be upon him) was the eldest son of Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him). He is mentioned eight times in the Holy Quran. Prophet ï·º and the famous and honorable family of Quraysh of Arabia are also related to him. After the birth, Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.) left him with his mother in Chatel Maidan near Baitullah according to the order of Allah. Allah Almighty released the fountain of Zamzam, which exists till today. By chance, a caravan of Banu Jazm passed by, seeing this spring, asked Hazrat Hajra (a.s) for permission to settle in this place.
When Allah asked Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) to sacrifice Hazrat
Ismail (peace be upon him), both of them happily prepared and went to sacrifice
the father and son. Danba was sent, then he was sacrificed, so in
his memory, the series of animal sacrifices on the occasion of Eid al-Adha was
continued forever, then Hazrat Ismail (peace be upon him) was married in Banu
Jazam tribe. Hazrat Ismail (peace be upon him) died at the age of one
hundred and thirty-seven years and was buried in Haram Sharif
next to his mother.

And [mention] when We made
the House a place of return for the people and [a place of] security. And take,
[O believers], from the standing place of Abraham a place of prayer. And We
charged Abraham and Ishmael, [saying], “Purify My House for those who perform
Tawaf and those who are staying [there] for worship and those who bow and
prostrate [in prayer].”

Baqarah: - 125
Or do you say that Abraham
and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the Descendants were Jews or Christians?
Say, “Are you more knowing or is Allah?” And who is more unjust than one who
conceals a testimony he has from Allah? And Allah is not unaware of what you
do.

Praise to Allah, who has
granted to me in old age Ishmael and Isaac. Indeed, my Lord is the Hearer of
supplication.

Ishmael. Indeed, he was true to his promise, and he was a messenger and a
prophet.
